AIR AND MECHANICAL SEATS FOR CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES

The 600 series is a new modular range of low natural frequency air and mechanical seats for construction vehicles. The 600 series achieves IS0 7096 seat performance standards for construction vehicles in the following categories:

• EM1 – articulated and rigid dump trucks
• EM3 and EM8 – large and compact wheeled loaders
• EM4 – graders
• EM5 – backhoe loaders
• EM6 – bulldozers

WIDE STABLE SUSPENSION SEAT

Conformance to these ISO 7096 categories means that the 600 series provides 'across the range' solutions for construction vehicle OEMs and plant and vehicle operators in the field. The 600 series offers a wide stable suspension seat to minimise free play in heavy-duty applications, and meets 22.2kN seat belt requirements without tether belts.

The AIR 65/K4 seat has an extended weight range able to sustain drivers up to 200kg (440lbs) in the most arduous conditions. The 600 series advanced modular design uses significantly fewer assemblies and components, to improve consistency of assembly and reduce spare parts needed for after service.

SPECIALISED SEATING FOR MINING MACHINERY

At KAB Seating we also provide a large number of specialised seating for mining machinery. All manner of mining machinery is catered for from open quarrying vehicles to under ground close space mining.

KAB seats are bread to the highest specifications and the 559 ACS is one of the top of the line KAB seat provided with both mains air and either 12V or 24V compressors, triple air lumbar support with two-side bolsters on the back and seat cushion and thigh support, drivers weight adjustment to 150kg.

AIR 559ACS - ADJUSTABLE ORTHOPEDIC SEAT

The Air 559ACS is a highly adjustable orthopedic seat. It is designed to maximise driver comfort and is ideal to relieve stresses on the body. It is particularly suited for professional drivers and equipment operators - especially those who suffer from back pain.

11/F1-CUT SEAT FOR UNDERGROUND MINING

A design specifically suited to the underground mining function is the 11/F1 cut seat, this seat is specifically designed for operators that are carrying breathing apparatus, molded body contour cushions, driver weigh adjustment from 50kg to 120kg, heavy duty PVC.
