Kador - Water Tankers and Haulage Vehicles for the Mining Industry

Kador Engineering is a privately owned Australian engineering firm founded in 1972. Since then it has established a history of manufacture of quality engineered products for Australia's largest resource companies including BHP Billiton, Santos, Nabalco, Xstrata and Rio Tinto. Kador also manufactures components and products for Mack Trucks, Terex, Cesco, Hastings Deering (Caterpillar), Komatsu Australia, Hitachi and the Queensland Government.

Kador operates from three manufacturing plants in Brisbane and employs more than 150 qualified trades-people with diverse skills. Kador's main markets are Australia and Asia, but the company has also supplied manufactured goods for other overseas regions.

MINING WATER TANKERS

Kador manufactures water tankers for road maintenance, mine and local government applications. All mine hauling bodies are manufactured under license. Additionally, the company supplies lubrication rigs for servicing construction and mining equipment, as well as pressure vessels for processing and product storage.

Kador Engineering Roadmaster products have been individually designed to suit all mining applications, including haul vehicles for mineral products, spray rigs for mine service road and fire control applications and lubrication service vehicles for maintenance of mining and construction equipment.

MINING LUBRICATION RIGS

Kador builds heavy-duty spray rigs for the mining industry. These tankers can be fitted to a range of prime movers (tractors) and are designed to suit your specific requirements. Tanks are made in various sizes ranging from 30kl to 120kl with a range of options available.

Over recent years, Kador has designed and constructed many water spray rigs, used for dust control on mine roads. With their large on-board water storage capacity, these rigs also have the ability to be used for fire fighting if required.

From Sept through November 2007, Kador was awarded contracts for eight more water spray rigs, ranging in size from truck mounted 70,000L units to a massive 190,000L articulated unit.

MINE SOUND CONTROL

The company also manufactures a range of sound control components for mining applications.
