Gjerstad mek Industri has built equipment for the construction and mining market for nearly 40 years and our target has always been to build the most efficient tool for the front of the machine. Products include sidedumping buckets, buckets and quick couplers for excavators and wheel loaders and buckets, couplers, rakes, forks and breakers for quarry applications.

We build the bucket according to the machine and the material to be moved. This leads to more efficient production in quarry and mines. Easy exchangeable wear parts give a low maintenance cost in the long term; more predictable maintenance is a guarantee for less downtime in production. Gjerstad is the warranty for that.

SIDEDUMPING BUCKETS FOR TUNNELS AND UNDERGROUND WORK

Our sidedumping bucket is the most efficient tool you can have for underground work when you have limited space. Using this sidedumping bucket you will reduce mucking out time by a minimum of 25% compared with different methods. You will also reduce tyre wear and fuel consumption, conferring an additional environmental advantage. More than 90% of tunnel contractors in Norway using sidedumping buckets from Gjerstad and we have delivered this bucket all over the world to our customers' satisfaction.

We build sidedumping buckets from 2m³ up to 7m³. Our users' recommendation is "chose the biggest machine you can use, in proportion to the space. This gives the highest effect." All components in our sidedumping buckets have a long lifetime coupled with a low maintenance cost.
