HEAVY EARTH MOVING EQUIPMENT COURSE

The earth moving course certifies mining employees as competent in the use of heavy earth moving equipment.

DOGGING COURSE

The dogging course is designed for any person who has to make a decision on what size sling or shackle to use and how to attach it to the load. The dogging course specifically instructs workers in the mining industry on how to inspect, select and apply slings and also how to direct the crane operator in the movement of loads.

RIGGING COURSE

Our basic rigging course is designed for any person who has to erect structural steel, transfer and move loads, hang chain blocks and safety nets. The course focuses primarily on the mining, construction, manufacturing and related industries, where staff need to be able to erect structural steel, use safety harnesses and erect static lines / safety nets.

The intermediate three-day rigging training course focuses on the erection of tilt-up panels, the erection and dismantling of lattice booms and tower cranes as well as how to conduct demolition work.

Finally, the advanced course provides specialist training on how to erect and dismantle suspended scaffolds and hung scaffolds, as well as how to erect span ropes and gin poles.

SCAFFOLDING COURSE

Our basic course is suited for people who work in the mining industry. The course teaches staff about the erection and dismantling of modular and pre-fabricated scaffolding, the use of safety harnesses and the erection of static lines / safety nets.

The company's three day intermediate and advanced scaffolding training courses cover the following activities: the erection and dismantling of spurred scaffolds, drop scaffolds, coupler scaffolds and erect tubes. We also teach how to dismantle spurred and drop scaffolds.

CRANES COURSES

In the mining industry, the ability to lift heavy loads using cranes is vital. Coastal Enterprises' crane training course is extremely useful for anyone working in the mining industry. The course instructs mining employees how to operate a crane that exceeds 3t lifting capacity.
