Clifford–Jacobs Forging specializes in low to medium runs of parts from 762.0mm in diameter for round parts, 1.3m in length for shaft parts and anywhere from 4.5kg to 362.9kg, forged from SBQ (Special Bar Quality) carbon, alloy, stainless, and tool steels. Common raw material grades include: 1020, 1040, 4140, 4340, 4870, 8620, 8822, 9310, 304S, 316S 410S, 17–4–PH, H–13 and more.

Our in–house die shop and substantial inventory of raw materials provide a dramatic reduction in turnaround time that can literally shave weeks off project delivery.

Our 32–acre facility in Champaign, Illinois, contains a vast inventory of raw materials that allows us to start production long before other companies can import materials from overseas. And because we're centrally located between Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis with extensive highway connections, we can ship your forgings fast throughout North America and beyond.

PART WAREHOUSING – VENDOR–MANAGED INVENTORY

Today, many companies rely on just–in–time delivery to keep their overhead costs to a minimum. At Clifford–Jacobs, we provide part warehousing at no additional cost, making on–time delivery a guarantee. With ongoing jobs, we can create the buffer you need, shipping parts as needed while maintaining a pre–arranged inventory that gives you the flexibility to change with shifting demands. And for clients with high–volume product–line requirements, we offer the added convenience of a Vendor–Managed Inventory (VMI) program.
