CDE has announced the signing of a new dealer for Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia. The washing equipment specialist from Northern Ireland has added 888 Crushing & Screening to its global distributor network and the agreement follows the recent installation of the first M2500 mobile wash plant in Australia.

Located in Perth, 888 Crushing & Screening operates under the stewardship of Henry Neville and Colum Igoe who have extensive experience in the crushing and screening industry. Commenting on the new agreement with CDE Henry said: “The addition of the CDE washing equipment range to our portfolio opens up the potential for us to further grow our business and complements the equipment that we currently offer. Given the extensive research we have done into the market for the premium washing equipment offered by CDE we are confident that the over the next few years we will be able to secure a large slice of the washing market in Australia.”

A new washing plant has recently been completed for WA Limestone, one of the largest suppliers of road construction materials in Western Australia and with headquarters in the Perth area. The new plant includes the M2500 mobile wash plant and an Aquacycle thickener.

“The completion of the new plant for WA Limestone will allow us to hit the ground running with the full range of CDE washing equipment,” says Henry Neville. “The presence of a reference site will allow us to demonstrate the efficiency improvements that the M2500 in particular can offer those involved in the washing of materials for use in a wide range of construction applications.”

The initial focus for CDE is on the development of business in the sand and gravel and crushed rock sectors as well as the growing C&D waste recycling market through the introduction of the Evowash sand washing plant and the M2500 mobile wash plant which offers a feed system, screening, sand washing and stockpiling capability on a single chassis.

“There are many opportunities for the replacement of inefficient sand washing systems with our Evowash plant which has been proven throughout Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa over the last two decades,” says CDE director Terry Ashby. ““We look forward to bringing this technology to the market in Australia in partnership with Henry, Colum and the rest of the team at 888 Crushing & Screening.”

The new agreement brings the full range of CDE washing equipment to Australia including the Aquacycle thickener, Rotomax logwasher and Prograde screens as well as a range of conveyors and dewatering screens.
