ShotTrack manufactures high-end, state-of-the-art electronic technologies for the mining and construction industries.

Our portfolio includes velocity of detonation, vibration monitors and soon to be released, blast inspection cameras, and remote access centres.

Velocity of detonation (VoD) monitor, time-domain reflectometer (TDR)

Our velocity of detonation (VoD) monitor, time-domain reflectometer (TDR), can be used for testing the performance of energetic materials and explosives.

ShotTrack specialises in innovative electronic technologies for the mining sector.
The ViB is our fully self-contained vibration monitor. The ViB HG Series of accelerometer (MEMS) based systems are suitable for high-performance vibration data collection.
All parameters, ON/OFF and data transfer are controlled by the RaC base station.
The Remote Access Centre (RaC) base station can control multiple nodes, all of our product range, via its long-range Bluetooth module.
VoD units are suitable for a wide range of surface and underground mining applications.
The VoD offers easy and reliable velocity of detonation recordings for a wide range of applications, with GPS time synchronisation, long-range Bluetooth and USB download capabilities.

These are suitable for applications such as underground, open-pit mines, quarries, product testing, research and development, short column testing, detonator timing, and wet holes.

With a nominal resolution of 90 picoseconds, this new innovative device is now capable of short column testing.

It features readily available and economic coaxial cable as the consumable, while the pulse-per-second (PPS) marker is inserted in the data from the onboard global positioning system (GPS) to facilitate timestamp referencing. A long-range Bluetooth also allows for remote data collection, along with USB connection.

Self-contained vibration monitors

The ViB Series of fully self-contained MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) accelerometer-based units used for high-end vibration data collection.

With a wide scope of use, for near field, medium field and far-field testing, our accelerometers range from 2g to 6,000g and are capable of sampling at 32,000 samples per second (32KHz). They are remotely controlled, and data is downloaded via Bluetooth within a range of up to 1km.

A PPS marker is interlaced into the data from the onboard GPS to allow a common timestamp to be referenced throughout our product range, as well as local time and positioning. An effective coupling system allows for optimum contact between the sensor and rock, which is achieved by an M10 thread in the centre of the base, a standard Dyno Bolt can be directly drilled into the rock, or a baseplate with an M10 bolt can be glued or screwed to other surfaces.

High-speed blast inspection cameras

Available in 2020, ShotTrack’s high-speed blast inspection camera (BiC) also synchronises time with an onboard GPS module. This allows an easy referencing of events to a specific time period, which is also referenced to all our other products.

Its in-built long-range Bluetooth is capable of communicating from 1,000m, while its Wi-Fi capabilities enable remote data retrieval and control over camera operation and settings.

Remote access centre

Available from 2020, the Remote Access Centre (RaC) base station can control multiple nodes, all of our product range, via its long-range Bluetooth module.

All parameters, ON/OFF and data transfer are controlled by the base station, then the operator via Wi-Fi, Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), satellite or Bluetooth connectivity.

Monitors for low ground vibrations

Available from 2019, the ViB LG series is a vibration monitor used to measure very low ground vibrations. An air overpressure unit will also be available to complement it.

It is available with GPS time synchronisation, long-range Bluetooth and high sample rate.
