Screenex Manufacturing - Injection Moulded Polyurethane Panel and Wire-Mesh Panel Manufacturers

Screenex was founded in 1959 as a supplier of woven wire screens to the South African mining and quarrying industry. It is now also a manufacturer of rubber and polyurethane screen panels and wire mesh panels. The Screenex product-range includes: injection moulded modular polyurethane panels, injection moulded modular Ferotec® rubber panels, screen support frames, and woven wire screens. Other related products offered by the company include: polyurethane spray nozzles, hand-cast and injection moulded sideliners, jig panels and modular sieve-bends.

MODULAR POLYURETHANE SCREEN PANELS

The modular polyurethane screen panel was invented by Screenex in the 1970s. This product has undergone further development over the following years and we currently have the widest range of panels available in the world. Some of the panel types are also patented by Screenex.

Different sizes, thickness, aperture size and type, and surface features mean that a total of more than 100,000 variations are possible. There is literally a panel for every application:

• Standard design - square and slotted apertures
• Maxi design - square and slotted apertures
• VR and VRX - self-cleaning (non blind and pegging) -available in maxi and standard design
• Doubledex - single deck to double deck conversion
• WD - flow restriction without increasing 'depth of bed'
• Solid panels - high impact or abrasion e.g. feed-end and discharge
• Specials - round, teardrop and angled round
• Wire insert panels

Continuous development is undertaken and new dies are cut regularly in our fully equipped, modern tool room.

MODULAR RUBBER SCREEN PANELS

Injection moulded Ferotec (a special rubber compound) panels are available in almost all the aperture size and types. We also manufacture injection moulded rubber panels with very small apertures as well as very thick and large aperture panels. We are the only screen supply company in the RSA to injection mould rubber panels.

WOVEN WIRE SCREENS

We have been supplying woven wire to the mining and especially the quarrying industry for 46 years now. We supply woven wire screens in all sizes and types. The range of materials used includes high carbon, stainless steel (304, 316) and mild steel as well as other specialized alloys. A wide range of fine mesh is available ex-stock.

Mining industry applications of Screenex woven wire screens: for all types of minerals and earth, in stone crushing and sand handling plants, at chrome, platinum, copper, diamond, gold and manganese as well as other mines and quarries.

SCREEN SUPPORT FRAMES

Screenex also supply screen support frames and are the holders of a number of patents for different types of frames. The range of support frames includes the basic box frame, angle iron stringer and all the various types of Pipe Top® stringer.

Pipe Top stringer frames offer controlled replacement of critical wear areas, thereby minimising your operation costs. The modular Pipe Top stringer range ensures maximum open area and can accommodate any panel that would fit on the conventional angle iron stringer.
