Foundeq 2006 in Brescia, Italy: Shake out of castings, from cast iron to cast aluminium at the highest level.
This year's Foundeq, which takes place from 17th-20th May, will be focusing on key technologies in the casting sector. In Hall 6, Stand D 11, Schenck Process will be presenting a removal channel, which is used in a French foundry of a well-known automotive manufacturer. A specially adaptable vibration technology, which permanently influences the product success.
A critical part of the production process is the separation of castings and sand. The cleaner the separation, the more economical the production. The solutions in this case are very specialised. The mould material circuit when removing the casting from the mould should be closed as much as possible, so that no sand is carried along into the subsequent rough casting treatment process. Only in this way, the laborious and cost-intensive separation and removal can be reduced to a minimum. An economic argument that pays dividends.
Separation of castings and sand is a sector Schenck Process has specialised in. In close co-operation with well-known foundries, and under its own development, Schenck Process has for decades been manufacturing plant and machinery that works reliably and extremely economically.
Designed for extreme stresses. Flexibly adaptable to every application.
On display at the exhibition, specialist visitors and guests will be able to see for themselves the visibly robust and extremely durable design of the machine body's removal channel. A particular innovation is the flexibly designed conveyor and screen line, which allows flexible adaptation to continually changing production conditions.
'Clever' removal technology for all sand-casting processes.
Flexibility in removal technology! Schenck Process offers the removal technology correctly adapted to every application; for every mould system type including manual mould testing.
Foundries with frequently changing model ranges will find the ideal solution in this variable removal technology. The high-frequency technology ensures an efficient removal process. Due to the modified design, this is consistently available over the complete operating frequency range (1000 - 1500 rpm).
The control equipment consists of the very latest components, which have already undergone their baptism of fire with distinction in drive technology of manipulators and robots. With excellent prospects for growth and changes.
Robust machines and intelligent, futuristic technology form a combination of values on which both iron and aluminium foundries can rely. In the long-term!
