This year's Foundeq, which takes place from 17th-20th May, will be focusing on key technologies in the casting sector. In Hall 6, Stand D 11, Schenck Process will be presenting a removal channel, which is used in a French foundry of a well-known automotive manufacturer. A specially adaptable vibration technology, which permanently influences the product success.
A critical part of the production process is the separation of castings and sand. The cleaner the separation, the more economical the production. The solutions in this case are very specialised. The mould material circuit when removing the casting from the mould should be closed as much as possible, so that no sand is carried along into the subsequent rough casting treatment process. Only in this way, the laborious and cost-intensive separation and removal can be reduced to a minimum. An economic argument that pays dividends.
