GARFORD BULBED CABLE BOLTS

Garford cable bolts are manufactured from stress relieved, low relaxation, high strength 15.2mm diameter, seven-wire strand. The Garford patented system of modified geometry cable bolts allows full penetration of grout to improve bond efficiency in supporting heavily broken or weak ground.

Garford produces bulb anchors in various forms - individual cable bolts, continuous cable bolts, passive and active cabled rock bolts.

GARFORD DYNAMIC YIELDING CABLE BOLT

The Garford Dynamic™ yielding cable bolt is used in areas where seismic activity is experienced or expected. The specially designed yielding sleeve absorbs the energy created during seismic events.

• Static yield force capacity 150kN (min) to 180kN
• Dynamic yield force capacity 80kN to 120kN
• Ultimate displacement capacity 300mm (standard) - larger capacity on request
• Used, primarily in mining and tunneling applications

GARFORD DYNAMIC SOLID BOLT

The Garford Dynamic™ solid bolt operates on the same principles as the yielding cable bolt with the advantage of being mechanically installed. Can be grouted or spun into resin with a uniquely designed mixing sleeve.

• Static yield force capacity – 160kN
• Dynamic force capacity – 120kN
• Displacement capacity – Up to 500mm

The dynamic device is mechanical therefore enabling repeatability in regard to the energy absorption process. It is used, primarily in mining and tunneling applications

GARFORD POINT ANCHOR CABLE BOLT

The Garford point anchor cable bolt is manufactured using compact strand either plain as a point anchor, or supplied with bulbs and ball-bearings for future grouting. Available in 48mm and 64mm shell configurations, with zinc passivated coating for corrosion protection.

All Garford products are primarily used in underground situations in coal and metalliferous mines. However the range is also suitable for use in open-pit locations. In addition, components have civil applications in tunneling and rock stabilization.
