Adam Technology - Remote 3D Measurement Technology

ADAM Technology specialises in the production of mapping, photogrammetric and and other remote 3D measurement technology for the mining industry.

We manufacture specialist photogrammetric systems including the MPS-2 MicroPhotogrammetric stereoplotter system, and the highly accurate, large format PROMAP System stereoplotter. ADAM is now involved in automatic three dimensional dynamic measurement technology - 3DM.

MAPPING AND PHOTOGRAMMETRIC PRODUCTS

ADAM Technology provides a range of photogrammetric hardware and software for the mapping industry. We supply analytical stereoplotters, analogue-to-analytical conversions, mapping software, stereoplotter upgrade kits and operator controls.

ANALYTICAL STEREOPLOTTERS

ADAM Technology manufactures the PROMAP System - our large format precision analytical stereoplotter combined with a photogrammetric scanner. High accuracy analytical stereoplotters remain the most accurate equipment for precision vector mapping applications such as aerotriangulation.

Designed for 240mm x 240mm photography, the PROMAP also incorporates the new optional ADAM ORTHO System 2 component for scanning and orthorectification.

The ADAM ORTHO System 2 enables PROMAP to create vector maps and generate fully rectified digital orthophotos on a single machine. No pre-scanning, resampling and or duplication of data is required.

MICROPHOTOGRAMMETRIC SYSTEM

We manufacture the Microphotogrammetric System 2 (MPS-2) for use in medium format (70mm) photography.

The MPS-2 eschews the restrictions of traditional stereoplotter equipment and makes photogrammetry accessible to everyone.

Non-traditional users find it easy to get to grips with the MPS-2 by virtue of the intuitive software and the use of simple joystick controls. The applications for this instrument include aerial mapping (terrestrial, oblique and traditional), through to measuring archaeological sites.

3D DIMENSIONAL DYNAMIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT

ADAM Technology now also manufactures a range of automatic 3D measurement equipment under the name 3DM, including the 3DM CalibCam and the 3DM Analyst.

Enabling automatic and highly accurate three dimensional measurments, 3DM can be applied to:

• Objects in motion
• Objects changing shape
• Objects too dangerous to touch

Results are available in milliseconds and stored digitally, so images can be kept as a permanent record. Automatic volume and surface shape calculations are available and can be interfaced into any automatic operation process.

3DM ANALYST - 3D DATA EXTRACTION PACKAGE

3DM Analyst is a rapid 3D data extraction software package for digital image handling. It uses pairs of overlapping or convergent aerial / terrestrial digital images that can be obtained either from digital cameras or scanned images.

Designed to support advanced functionality for model orientations, the 3DM Analyst uses any combination of control points and camera stations. Natural image points can also be used as additional input to enhance orientations.

3DM CALIBCAM

Our newest addition to the 3DM software range, the 3DM CalibCam complements the 3DM Analyst through its ability to use any number of images to perform camera calibration, exterior orientation determination and point surveying.

3DM CalibCam uses a least squares bundle block adjustment algorithm optimised for terrestrial applications and offering

The 3DM CalibCam can be configured to provide any combination of control points, camera stations and natural image points to enhance orientations. It provides advanced functionality for all interior / exterior orientations.
