Pioneer Pump - Centrifugal Pumps

Pioneer Pump is a global company that has taken centrifugal pump design to a new level by enabling a significant increase in volume for specific pump sizes. Key to many mining and quarrying dewatering and water management applications is the ability to specify pump requirements without compromise.

PP SELF-PRIMING CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

Apart from offering a range of vacuum-assisted self-priming pumps, self-priming pumps and standard centrifugal pumps, Pioneer Pump is able to custom-build packages using a range of diesel engine or electric drive power packs. Fully attenuated units and ultra-silent housings (as low as 60dB(A) are available.

A range in demand within the industry is the PP range of self-priming centrifugal pumps, which comprises 22 models. These pumps are capable of handling flows of up to 4,000m³/hr (1110L/sec), heads of up to 180m and solids up to 150mm.

MINE AND QUARRY PUMPS

Pioneer Pump recognises that there are three critical factors in selecting pumps for mining and quarrying applications:

  • Reliability: pump failure can be expensive and dangerous to life and assets
  • The ability to cope with fluctuating demands including surges
  • High-operating efficiency to reduce costs
  • Proven operating efficiency

The uniquely engineered range of Pioneer pumps means the pumps are efficient in their ability to handle large volumes of water. All models invariably outperform all other equivalent-sized pumps. Bigger is not always better and Pioneer Pump can prove it.

The wide performance curve of Pioneer pumps also means that there is no longer any need to oversize a pump installation, which is costly and an unnecessary expense.

Pioneer Pump's package design means engines are optimised for maximum energy efficiency. This means that they always have the ability to meet any sudden increase in demand. Their ability to snore or run-dry for indefinite periods also gives mine and quarry managers peace of mind.

DURABLE MINING PUMPS

Pioneer Pumps have a reputation for their durability under extreme conditions. This is a direct result of the high quality materials used, including duplex stainless steels, hard irons and standard ductile iron. Such is the confidence of the company that it offers a two-year warranty on all pumps.

GLOBAL PUMP INSTALLATION

Pioneer Pump engineers also understand your business and will provide, install and maintain, as required, a pumping solution built around your needs. No wonder Pioneer Pumps are meeting demanding requirements from remote parts of the world where reliability is essential: from the Arctic, to remote islands and the tough environment of central African countries.

Wherever you want a pumping solution to deliver reliable performance, be ready for the unexpected and to lower overall pumping costs, then Pioneer Pump has the answer.
