Mapa Cleaning Technologies - Cleaning Systems for the Mining Industry

MaPa locally design and manufacture an array of machines that range from pressure cleaners, to car wash systems, specialized fire-fighting units, valet dryers and dust suppression equipment.

Products are also imported from Italy, Germany and China, in fact from twelve different companies in all. These products contribute to the diverse range of cleaning machines and consumables on offer and include floor scrubbing, sweeping and polishing equipment, janitorial, hotel and mopping trolleys, various types of cotton, microfibre and velowig mops, colour coded hygiene brushware, paper and soap dispensers, vacuum cleaners and high-pressure cleaners.

Chemicals are manufactured and branded for MaPa and products such as standard brushware and paper towels and rolls are locally sourced.

Our strengths lie in good management, dedicated staff, stock availability and a strong after sales service division.

COLD WATER, HIGH-PRESSURE CLEANER

Due to consumer demand, we have launched the HDG2021E cold water high-pressure cleaner. This unit really looks the part with its Ruggerini MD190 electric-start diesel engine and gearbox-driven ceramic piston Interpump, which produces 200bar at 21L/min with ease. The hose reel is optional and comes in 20m and 40m format.

350BAR HPV3523 PRESSURE CLEANER

Stepping things up a notch we are introducing the HPV3523, 350bar at 23L/min petrol-driven Hp cleaner powered by a 27 Hp Briggs & Stratton electric start OHV engine. This machine has been added to our range to complement the already popular CPS3523 electric version. The HPV features stainless-steel fuel and water recirculation tanks, and as with all our 350bar units, it comes standard with a 10m heavy-duty double wire blue hp hose.

500BAR SPS5026 PRESSURE CLEANER

Last but certainly not least is the 500bar at 26L/min SPS5026. This is where the game changes and we introduce the HPP Series of triplex plunger pumps. Although it is not a new kid on the block - we have sold a few already.

Kitted with top of the range PA accessories this is a unit to be reckoned with and forms part of the forthcoming range of HPP units still to be launched by us. These pumps are available with flows varying from 34L/min to 316L/min, with pressures now reaching 1,000bar and are suitable for use in the mining, municipal and shipping industries, amongst others.

CLEANING EQUIPMENT FOR THE MINING INDUSTRY

MaPa Cleaning Technologies have been active in supplying quality cleaning equipment to the mining industry for some time now.

Whilst there are many varied applications that range from the requirement of portable hot and cold water machines both electrically heated and diesel fired, to ultra high pressure and even high-volume units, there is also a need for fixed Clean In Place (CIP) units that have multi user points strategically placed within a required area.

Usually either single or double pump-stations are installed at a suitable point and fixed-pipe work is run along the structure in rubber-lined brackets to reduce noise. Vibration dampeners are fitted in line and remote switching stations are provided with key locks where necessary. This type of installation can be used wherever cleaning convenience is a priority, or in situations where there is no access for portable machines.

Hose reels and gun holders can be installed, as can chemical feed points at each station, thus providing quick response time when detergents are required. Key locks at the on / off station ensure authorised use only. Typical installations are done in crushing plants, canteens, washrooms, vehicle wash bays and parts wash bays to name a few.

This type of system not only provides operator convenience, it is also less susceptible to abuse, is more reliable because safety features can easily be incorporated, and is cost-effective in terms of maintenance and operating performance. The units are available in different formats ranging from single to multi pump stations with varying pressures and water flows to suit specific applications.
