Intermat 2006 will witness a major breakthrough in construction engineering – the global launch of a revolutionary new range of dewatering pumps from ITT Flygt. The need to keep operations moving is a key driver for today’s construction industry. ITT Flygt's new 2600 dewatering pump series has been designed to do just that, radically reducing component wear and the need for maintenance in order to maximize working time and profitability.
Replacing the highly successful Bibo range, the 2600 series has been created to meet the increasingly stringent performance and economy demands of today’s industry. The six pumps in the range cover almost any application for construction sites of all sizes. These pumps have been re-engineered from the ground up. They feature innovative hydraulics, fewer components, and practical, ergonomic design.
The patented Dura-Spin hydraulic system and newly designed impeller significantly improve wear resistance and sustain performance over time. The impellers are made from highchrome cast iron for outstanding efficiency and wear resistance. It's easy to adjust the impeller for optimum performance, with just one trimming screw. The patented Spin-Out system drastically reduces seal wear. The result is lower overall cost of ownership.
All the pumps in the series are simple and quick to maintain. The junction box is easy to access, and external oil and inspection plugs are standard. The unique one-piece plug-in seal provides double the security and is easy to replace.
