Since 1927, Arthur Habermann has been manufacturing armoured pumps for applications such as coal and ore mining; the chemical industry; the steel industry; tunnelling; the sand and gravel industry; waste, bio-gas and power plants; the sugar industry; animal carcass disposal plants; and SIC-processing plants.
Our manufacturing sites in Germany, such as foundries for high-alloy quality castings and polyurethane, ensure the highest quality and flexibility.
We supply single-stage armoured pumps for the hydraulic conveying of all kinds of abrasive and abrasive / corrosive media. Available pump designs are type HPK, a pump with polyurethane / rubber-lined hydraulic parts, and type NPK , which has hydraulic parts made of highly wear and corrosion-resistant cast material for coarsely grained solids with maximum grain sizes up to 100mm.
We also deliver vertical versions of the HPK and NPK horizontal armoured pumps. Our V300, V320 and V340 glandless armoured pumps are for wet installations, our V310 and V330 glandless armoured pumps are for dry installations, and our VH1/VH2 vertical armoured pumps are for wet and dry installations.
The N series armoured pump features its own pump sump and is especially suited for applications handling batches of gassing and foaming media.
This special design of armoured pump is available with the wet ends of HPK and NPK pumps. The container can be created in different materials and a coating with rubber is available.
KB/KBPL dredger pumps are suitable for high and very high wear applications for pipe connections with internal diameters of 100mm to 500mm that deal with maximum grain sizes of 230mm. Normal and submersible versions are available in every size.
Hydraulic parts are made of highly wear and corrosion-resistant cast material for coarsely grained solids, mainly used for conveyance of sand and gravel.
Our specially designed type KB/KBKT/KBPL pumps for tunnelling, micro tunnelling and trench cutting are made of highly wear and corrosion-resistant cast material for very high wear protection and provide a compact design fitting best to limited space requirements.
As well as the sliding abrasion through the fine solids content, the pump is also subject to additional wear through dynamic stress due to the highly coarse grain. The wall thickness of the stressed parts in this series is therefore strengthened. You can choose between two different impeller versions with two or three paddles for individual applications.
Our HPK/T and NPK/T models are submersible motor pumps with similar hydraulic parts as our HPK and NPK horizontal pumps.
In standard operation it is necessary to fully submerge the aggregate into the fluid during operation due to the fact that the motor design is surface-cooled. Alternatively an internal cooling system can be used for dry installation.
