Aussie Mine Uses the Verderflex Pump for Slurry

A copper mine in the north of Australia has installed several Verderflex hose pumps in their operation plant. All Pumps Supplies is the Australian and New Zealand distributor for the Verderflex peristaltic hose pumps. The mine operators came to All Pumps Supplies for a solution on pumping a product containing particles and various other matters including sulphuric acid.

The hose pump selected for the job was a Verderflex model VF50 doing an amazing flow rate that would put the hose in the pump under a lot of strain. In a peristaltic hose pump the main wearing part is the hose. So having the main wearing part under more pressure than normal, you would have to use a highly engineered reinforced hose. The state-of-the-art manufacturing process ensures the high concentration and consistent placement of reinforcement fibres in the hose wall, the secret to the exceptional life of the Verderflex hose.

The mine is exceedingly happy with these Verderflex pumps and even the senior engineer emailed the staff at All Pumps Supplies to express his great thoughts on the pumps.

He wrote in his email the he tried to use ‘non-OEM’ hoses in these pumps under a few tests. The result in these trials proved that only the genuine Verderflex hoses resulted in a vast improvement in the performance and efficiencies of the pumps.

All Pumps Supplies has distributed many of the Verderflex hose pumps throughout Australia and New Zealand to many mines and mineral processing plants.
