Our capability extends to all stages of the process, including site infrastructure, haul roads, pre-stripping, overburden removal, dragline assist, dozer push, mining of the resource, delivery to crusher or coal handling production plant (CHPP), and mine site rehabilitation. Project delivery methods include project management, alliance, early contractor involvement (ECI), schedule of rates and negotiated. Coal and metalliferous mining servicesGolding currently provides coal mining services in Australia's Bowen and Surat Basins (Ensham, BMA Gregory, Kogan Creek), using truck / shovel and truck / excavator techniques. Current metalliferous mining projects include Bajool Marble Mine and Mt Rawdon Gold Mine. We have the technical expertise to take care of geological modelling, pit design and optimisation, and to operate effectively in difficult geotechnical conditions. Our technical personnel are experienced in mining adjacent to faults, dykes, sills and weathering zones. Civil infrastructure on mine sitesGolding has completed a wide range of civil infrastructure and mobilisation projects at Australian mines, including ROM pads, hardstands, tailings dams, haul roads, access roads, bulk earthworks, water management systems, levees and creek diversions, airstrips and underground services. In addition, Golding undertakes a wide range of civil projects, including bridges, roads, rail line duplications, residential and industrial subdivisions and site infrastructure for major mineral processing plants. Mining and earthmoving equipmentGolding owns and maintains a large fleet of modern mining and heavy earthmoving equipment, ranging in size from 30t to 550t, together with matching rear dump trucks and ancillary equipment. Safety and training Golding's award-winning safety system is accredited to AS4801 and recognised by the NSCA 5-star health and safety management system. Golding has taken an active lead in training and assessing all site operators. All personnel actively participate in daily pre-start safe production talks, and are encouraged to participate in hazard analysis. Cultural heritage and environmental issuesGolding is experienced in successful liaison with traditional owners of mine sites, and the preservation of culturally significant areas. Our environmental management system is certified to international standard ISO 14001 and we are a member of Greenhouse Challenge Plus. Mine erosion control and site rehabilitationWe manage the transport, handling and treatment of contaminated material and regulated waste. We are experienced in construction of erosion controls, construction and protection of native fauna habitats, mine site rehabilitation and revegetation.
