CQ Field Mining Services are one of the major mining field maintenance contractors in Bowen Basin. Our aim is to become the only major provider of high quality tradespeople to the mining, construction and sugar sector in central Queensland.

MINING FABRICATION WORKSHOP

CQ Field Mining Services has a fabrication workshop facility with the following capabilities:

• Fully qualified and competent boilermakers
• Training booths for welder qualifications to AS/NZ 1554.5 or to specific certifications
• WTIA welding supervisor or inspector

We fabricate custom rigid tray bodies to the client’s individual requirements. CQ Field Mining Services will complete the task efficiently, reducing lead times whilst retaining our high safety and quality standards.

ON-SITE MINING REPAIRS

CQ Field Mining Services specialize in on-site repairs and maintenance therefore our knowledge is extensive and our experience invaluable. Here are the on-site tasks we execute:

• Field maintenance
• Scheduled maintenance
• Shut down maintenance (including draglines, excavators and addition mining equipment)
• Short or long term projects
• Specializing in truck tray repairs of all makes and sizes

WELDING AND FABRICATION

CQ Field Mining Services employ only highly qualified welding inspectors to maintain our commitment to quality and ensure safety and customer satisfaction. We specialize in boilermakers, boom welders, fabricators, welders and fitters. In addition our team are experts in truck tray fabrication and maintenance as well as pressure welding and on and off-site boom welding.

QUALITY MINING SERVICES

We are constantly aware and striving to meet the standards of occupational health, safety and environmental management procedures when completing any repair or maintenance job. We even employ a health and safety coordinator to ensure all of the employees comply with official standards and work harder to meet our own high standards.

Before any task is attempted we undergo a risk assessment procedure to highlight any possible dangers to our employees and the customer. CQ Field Mining Services also employs a rehabilitation coordinator to help on the rare occasion an injury does occur.
