Brooks Range Exploration II - Hard-Rock and Placer Mining SiteThe Brooks Range Exploration II Wildlake mine is a hard rock mining and placer site. The mining area of Brooks Range is highly mineralized. Based on the data from the ore samples approximately $65 million of placer gold is in the alluvial fan area. Brooks Range Exploration II, has been placer mining in the narrow canyon area where large gold nuggets have been recovered. HARD-ROCK AND PLACER MININGBased on the report by the US Department of the Interior Analytical Results from Mineral Investigations in the Koyukuk Mining District, Northern Alaska, the Koyukuk proved extremely remote, being noted in the early days as one of the most northerly mining districts in the world. Gold was first mined in the central part of the district in 1904, following discovers near Wild Lake and on Crevice Creek in the John River drainage. Significant results from this study includes identification of anomalous gold values in pan and placer concentrates samples collected at Wild Lake. Joe Taylor, who did the electronics testing on our original fifteen claims, said his study showed 31 mineral belts. Joe and his father did the electronic analysis at Fort Knox, a multi-billion dollar gold mine near Fairbanks, Alaska. Rodney Blakestad was also involved at Fort Knox, and is credited as the discovery geologist. As an expert, Rodney was also involved with Brooks Range Exploration for three years. In one mining season, 15 assays arrived with the samples, one tag for each, with a value of 0.5oz of gold per ton to 44oz of gold per ton. The average was over 22oz of gold per ton. We had a contract with a processing plant in Anchorage, Alaska and a lab at Wild Lake so we were aware of what we were processing. MINING OF PLATINUM, GOLD, COPPER AND SILVER CONCENTRATESThe concentrates consist of platinum, gold, copper and silver. Large nuggets have been discovered that weighed 20oz to 25oz or more. These large nuggets are rough nuggets that have not moved far, with the possibility of two mother loads existing. Our geologist has provided maps for drilling and gridding the mining sites. HARD-ROCK AND PLACER MINE-SITE EQUIPMENTThe equipment on site is designed for the efficiency and practicality of hard-rock and placer mining applications of precious metals. That consists of a Cat track loader, Cat 215 excavator, drill rig, self-propelled wash plants and more. Brooks Range Exploration II, LLC is located on Wild Lake which is approximately 31 miles from Bettles, Alaska. Access is available by utilizing a winter trail, gravel runway or the use of a seaplane. The mine has approximately 9,500acres. The claim rentals are paid to the State of Alaska. The site is a turnkey operation. Housing is available for approximately 16 men or more that includes three kitchens, four showers, six bathrooms, washer and dryers, running water and several generators with enclosures.
