We conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for extensions to existing open pit operations and evaluate the feasibility of new or proposed open pit operations.

OPEN PIT MINE OPTIMIZATION

We provide open pit optimization services as part of our mine design and scheduling solutions. We use our open pit mine optimization capabilities to assess whether projects should progress to a pre-feasibility study.

We furthermore carry out mining trade-off studies to determine the most financially viable open pit mining method and production schedule for any ore body. We also optimize stockpile schedules to minimize re-handling and logistical challenges.

MINE DESIGN AND SCHEDULING

Our deliverables include the provision of all data in three dimensions together with specific bench plans indicating the mining and pushback sequence required to achieve the set production targets.
