The hydrodynamic principle of a fluid coupling makes it easy to gently accelerate driven machines. At the same time, fluid couplings limit torque, provide load sharing, and dampen torsional vibrations.

Our partnership with the mining industry is nearly as old as the turbo coupling itself. For over 50 years, Voith has been supplying couplings for a wide range of mining applications above ground and underground, especially for belt conveyors, armoured face conveyors and crushers.
