Hansen Transmissions Industrial has extended its product portfolio of industrial gearboxes with the Hansen M-Series, a complementary range that caters for optimised application requirements that are integrated into the design phase and result in a reliable and functional gear drive solution.
The full M-Series covers eight sizes with a torque range up to 100kNm and will be brought to market in several phases. During the Hanover Fair 2009 Hansen will introduce the complete drive solution for wet cooling towers. Future executions for e.g. aerators, conveyors, screw pumps and mixers are also being planned.
Hansen M-Series
The M-Series includes horizontal and vertical gearboxes that are easy to configure-to-order and, as a result, meet the demands of a wide variety of applications. Tailor-made solutions for high volumes or repetitive orders are also possible within the series and a broad range of specific application options ensure high effectiveness in dimension and capability.
The development and final design were supported by Hansen’s tradition of close co-operation with customers. Every piece of field experience and advice has been taken on board in the design so the needs of customers and users are carefully considered.
Short delivery times, flexible gearbox sizes and optional accessories will allow customers to select the optimum product for their needs. The M-Series requires fewer components and is manufactured using Hansen’s state-of-the-art production techniques. The M-Series range comprises all elements that have made Hansen such a respected and long-time supplier of user-friendly, application-oriented, flexible and environmentally-friendly gear units. That is exactly why Hansen wants to bring the M-Series range to market in different phases, for example per application.
