Founded in 1987, Australian Brake Controls (ABC) is a specialist brake company servicing the mining, industrial and transport sectors with an extensive range of parts and services. ABC is the Australian distributor of Mico hydraulic products, Bendix and Knorr Bremse, Bosch Chassis System (PBR Commercial) Wabco and many others. Your requirements can normally be filled and shipped overnight to all capital cities and many larger regional cities in Australia from our warehouse located in Smithfield, NSW.

Mico hydraulic brake systems, actuators and valves

Our Mico product range includes full power hydraulic systems with accumulator charging valves, open centre and full power brake valves, hydraulic brake actuators including modulating and reverse modulating brake valves, air/hydraulic actuators, two fluid brake valves, brake locks and brake lock systems, a large range of caliper disc brakes and multiple disc brakes, master cylinders and power cylinders, wheel cylinders, pressure intensifiers and quadrigages to name a few.

Sintered friction materials

ABC is an importer of a large range of sintered friction materials including multiple disc and wet brake friction and intermediate plates, steering clutch plates and transmission plates for a large range of vehicles from forklifts to wheel loaders, including J C Bamford, Case, Caterpillar, Clark, Dynapac, Euclid, Fiat Allis, Ford, Furakawa, Galion, Girling, Hamworthy, Hurth, Hyster, International, John Deere, Joy, Komatsu, Massey Furguson, Mitsubishi, Michigan, New Holland, Nissan, Okamura, Spicer Tamrock, TCM, Toyota, Twin Disc, and Yale.

Commercial vehicle air fittings

We also import a large range of commercial vehicle air fittings in both compression and "push to connect" matched with a range of SAE and DIN rated nylon tube. We have a large range of air reservoirs from 9l to 75l.

Our workshop

In Smithfield we specialize in fitting of many of our standard systems like dual line air systems (both full air and electric compressor) abs systems and brake lock systems. Our remanufacturing facilities cater for truck and plant air compressors, air valves and most of the products in our range.
