Portabuild manufacture and supply polyethylene and fibreglass chemical toilets for underground mining and general commercial and industrial use; these may be non-flush and re-circulating flushing units.

Polyethylene portable toilets are for male and female use in the mining environment. They are manufactured in compliance with the mining specifications as set forth by the mines (DME Standards) and include PVC drums for easy handling and cleaning. These toilets come in various colours for the different type of mines and their staff.

PORTAMATIC FIBREGLASS VIP EXPORT TOILET

The Portamatic fibreglass VIP export toilet comes in collapsible form easy for crating and packaging for the export market. The toilet is made from durable but light fibreglass material. It comes complete with vanity slab, washbasin, light and mirror - the ideal VIP toilet where excellence is required.

PORTALUX MODEL 400 TWO-SEATER TOILETS

Portalux Model 400 two-seater toilets are also available for the mines with height restrictions these toilets are made up of fibreglass and easy to move. They also have a greater capacity of up to approximately 450Lt.

REFUGE BAY TOILET UNITS

Portabuild's Portabum and BoD (Bum on Drum) units are made up of fibreglass and polyethylene respectively. The units are mainly manufactured specifically for the refuge bay area of the mine and are space-efficient for use in very small areas.

HYDRALOO SELF CONTAINED, SINGLE TANK TOILET SYSTEM

The system consists of a single, septic tank, with an integral bio-filter to treat the effluent before discharge. A water supply is not required as the system is charged with water on installation and the displacement principle is used thereafter. It is a low-flow system and suitable for the full daily use requirements of six adults. Excessive use will degrade the effluent produced but, in normal circumstances, not to a level which would be considered a pollutant or health risk.

Included in the system is a dropper tube and a pedestal with a closure system to ensure the waste tank is sealed from the bathroom or toilet cubicle. Men may use the system as normal without lifting or lowering the seat. When the seat is lowered the closure panel opens and waste may pass into the tank. After use the seat returns to the open position and the toilet aperture closes. As this is an anaerobic system urine diversion is not required.

HYDRALOO ANAEROBIC PROCESS WASTE DIGESTER

The application of anaerobic digestion in this system means that the waste is treated and not merely stored. Anaerobic sludge will accumulate over time and will need to be removed after five to seven years of use. The clarifier / filter section of the unit is simply lifted out and the sludge can then be removed either mechanically or manually. At this time the clarifier / filter unit can be cleaned and serviced if necessary.

HydraLoo can be installed inside a new house, an existing house or in a separate cubicle depending upon circumstances. A purpose designed unit is available should it be required to be installed externally in a separate cubicle.

GENESIS MODULAR BUILDINGS

The panels are made up from GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester), which can be insulated with 20mm polyurethane foam. Our constructions have non-fading external colours as UV resistant pigmented resin is used on all panels.

All windows are made of toughened glass in anodised aluminium frames, and the corners of the buildings are interlocking ensuring a proper seal which enhances stability and rigidness. The roof pitch also ensures suitable resistance to high winds and water run off.
