DCL was incorporated in Western Australia in 1972 and has been involved in providing minesite catering and village management services for various construction camps, exploration camps and temporary government work camps in most parts of Western Australia for over 38 years.
"Our mission is to work with our clients to achieve a mutually beneficial partnership, act with integrity, honesty and professional courtesy whilst delivering the highest quality services, which exceed our customer's expectations"
DCL has gained vast experience in minesite catering over its 38 year history. We pride ourselves on working in partnership with our clients to tailor services to meet the exact needs of the site. In-line with our mission statement and core values we price the work very competitively in an effort to demonstrate our commitment and retain the contract over the longer term. Services we offer include but are not limited to;
Mobilisation of the project is a key component in the ongoing success of the first weeks of a contract. DCL develop a detailed moblisation plan which demonstrates the strategic approach we take to ensure the successful coordination and deployment of stock, supplies, linen, vehicles and operational personnel to the minesite in an orderly and timely manner to ensure the project starts on time and within budget.
DCL's quality standards system is certified against ISO 9001:2008 (catering and management systems). Our quality plan identifies areas such as our hazard control of our food operational procedures (HACCP), goods ordered and receivable plus all the relevant processes and procedures relating to maintaining all our quality standards on site.
DCL believes that safety in the workplace is of paramount importance and underpins everything we do. We maintain that achieving a 'zero harm' culture originates from adopting the correct attitude.
'Zero harm' is a core value, supported by a culture that ensures it is an absolute priority across all our operations with a profound belief that all work related injury and illness can be prevented. We support this value with a range of health and safety policies and procedures which are based on ISO 9001, HACCP and OHSAS 18001 standards.
"Our commitment is to achieve a working environment where injuries are considered unacceptable, and no activities are undertaken if the potential to compromise health and safety exists."
DCL understand the complexities and numerous requirements involved in setting up, operating and managing minesite catering and remote site operations and can provide our clients with complete project solutions with professional on-site management and sound support from our head-office team of experienced staff.
