Products are available which incorporate captive and failsafe designs capable of withstanding overloads and still operating safely.

NATURAL AND SYNTHETIC RUBBER COMPOUNDS

A wide range of natural and synthetic rubber compounds have been developed to withstand the extreme operating environments of surface and underground mining applications, providing improved levels of resistance to oils, surface abrasion wear, large temperature fluctuations, sunlight and ozone. Flame-proof rubbers are also available for specific applications.

A purpose-designed solution is often required and in such cases GMT can provide a full design service utilising computer modelling techniques such as finite element analysis and multi-directional vibration analysis to meet our customers’ individual application requirements.

MULTI PURPOSE ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNTS

GMT offers a range of anti-vibration mounts for active isolation of vibration. These mounts are suitable for numerous types of applications such as containers, cabins, compressors, generators, engines and pumps. Mounts are available with and without height adjustment, and internal overload limiters permit use on mobile applications.

HIGH DEFLECTION SHOCK MOUNTS

GMT offer a range of purpose-designed mountings capable of high deflections which are ideal for reducing transmitted shock loads to sensitive equipment. The mountings are also particularly suitable for the attenuation of low frequency applications.
