ENGINE COMPARTMENT LINING

Colpro Engineering provides varied services for mining applications. They can provide simple secondary silencers or engine compartment lining. They also offer holistic solutions for individual machinery, with the use of acoustic modelling and noise intensity surveys, to achieve acoustic targets.

MINING MACHINERY ACOUSTIC TREATMENT

Colpro has designed and supplied acoustic treatment to almost all types and sizes of above-ground mining machinery. Colpro manufactures high-performance exhaust silencers, systems and bellows used in power station applications, as well as spark arrestor silencers for off-highway machinery to AS 1019-1985, purifier silencers for urban transport, off-highway machinery and forklifts and water injector silencers for marine applications.

Additionally, the company’s capabilities extend to acoustic enclosures, attenuators and splitters installed for all types of industrial machinery, including heavy mining machinery, and diesel generator plant rooms with associated piping and acoustic systems. EXHAUST PURIFIERS

Diesel particulate emissions are major contributors to smog over modern cities. Particulates have also proven to be associated with a range of health effects from exacerbation of asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia symptoms to retarded lung development. Colpro-Kat purifiers will reduce or eliminate particulate emissions. Retrofit of Colpro-Kat solutions are a viable and cost effective solution. Colpro-Kat in conjunction with Engelhard have retrofitted thousands of diesel engines in Australia.

Inhalation of carbon monoxide emissions from diesel engines can be fatally dangerous in tunnels, enclosed spaces or places with poor ventilation. Carbon monoxide is odourless and colourless. This means that CO concentration levels can increase to dangerous levels without detection. Colpro-Kat purifiers reduce/eliminate the emission levels of CO for diesel, bio-diesel or natural gas engines.

THERMAL INSULATION BLANKETS

Colpro Thermowrap exhaust insulation blankets are custom manufactured using layered fibreglass materials to provide exceptional heat and noise control at temperatures to 1,200°C. Thermowrap exhaust blankets will withstand intense vibration and is the solution for block type insulation requiring replacement.
