Surplus Conveyors - Idler Frames and Conveyor Belt Disposal

Surplus Conveyors, an Australian company, supply easy-change idler frames, as well as conveyor belt disposal services, for mining applications.

EASY-CHANGE IDLER FRAMES

Surplus Conveyors' easy-change idler frames have been designed to overcome the sometimes awkward and dangerous task of replacing conveyor idlers in mining applications.

The company has designed an innovative solution to this problem, and has come up with a simple and effective product that both significantly reduces the chance of injury, and reduces the labour time by 75%.

EASY-CHANGE IDLER FRAMES

The easy-change idler frame allows a single operator to quickly and easily replace all idlers from one side of the conveyor. The process is extremely quick and simple: just remove the retaining nuts and slide the idlers right out.

EASY-CHANGE IDLER FRAME ADVANTAGES

There are many advantages to our easy-change idler frames:

  • Great for conveyors with single walkways or restricted access
  • No need to lift the conveyor belting, as the idlers slide out from underneath the belting from the safety of the walkway
  • Eliminate the need for safety harnesses and cherry pickers
  • Eliminate the need for working in dangerous and awkward positions when replacing conveyor idlers
  • Significantly reduce the chance of back or other, related injuries that occur when replacing idlers, as the working position allows for appropriate ergonomics
  • Easy-change idler frames can be retrofitted to existing conveyor systems, and also to suit your current idler supplier

Surplus Conveyors can also supply standard frames and idlers.

CONVEYOR BELT DISPOSAL

Conveyor belt disposal is another area where Surplus Conveyors have been innovative, as is necessary to combat the ever-increasing problem with this waste material. We are committed to providing long-term, sustainable conveyor belt disposal services to the mining industry.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CONVEYOR BELT RECYCLING

Surplus Conveyors have developed environmentally friendly conveyor belt recycling techniques to dispose of used conveyor belting, both steel cord and fabric reinforced. With processing facilities located on both the west and east coasts of Australia, and the ability to handle reels weighting up to 35t, Surplus Conveyors are well positioned to assist you with your environmentally friendly conveyor belt recycling requirements.
