TEKAPLAST FRICTION DRUM AND SHEAVE WHEEL LINING

TEKAPLAST high friction inserts for drive sheaves and KOEPE winders have a very high co-efficient of friction and excellent wear properties even under the harshest working conditions. These properties guarantee a good frictional connection between ropes and drive sheaves in all shaft and rope conveyor applications.

TEKAPLAST high friction inserts are made of a special thermosetting material which is resistant to high and low working temperatures. The high co-efficient of friction is guaranteed even when changing mechanical and chemical conditions are caused by different environmental and plant operating conditions.

TEKAPLAST high friction inserts have successfully been utilised for the safe conveyance of men and material over many decades. They are used extensively all over the world in winder applications for sheaves and KOEPE drives.

TEKAWELL HIGH INCLINE CONVEYOR BELTING FOR BULK MATERIALS HANDLING

KUEPER's TEKAWELL incline belt conveyors for bulk materials handling have successfully been applied in numerous conveying operations. They combine space-saving qualities and reliability with low-maintenance and economic advantages.

The heart of an incline belt conveyor is the sidewall belt. High strength base belts with integrated cross-rigid textile or steel reinforced carcasses, high wear and tear-resistant rubber belt covers are individually manufactured with sidewalls and cleats according to customers' specifications.

TEKAWELL incline belt conveyors need to be equipped with cross-rigid base belts to ensure high flex life. The cross-rigid base belt design is a prerequisite for horizontal to vertical belt curves by means of deflection components; i.e. deflection stub idlers or deflection wheels. Furthermore the cross-rigid design ensures the smooth running of the sidewall belt on the returning side of the conveyor as it prevents striking of the belt profiles towards belt idlers or belt constructional parts on the path of belt return.

KUEPER - BELT SPLICING AND JOINTING

All KUEPER belting is capable of being hot vulcanized by select methods according to product style and specific use. Vulcanized splices require more time, skill and expense than mechanical fasteners but result in a superior splice. Mechanical fasteners are suitable for all the product range apart from steel cord belting which must be vulcanized.
