Intrepid Mining Equipment - No Maintenance Scrapers and Conveyor Belt Products

Intrepid Mining Equipment offers the largest range of scrapers for a variety of problems associated with conveyor belts. We pride ourselves with the manufacturing of various other conveyor belt related products such as, dust suppression units, idlers, universal skirting, mechanical punch, conveyor belt clamps and conveyor belt cutters.

With our cleaning systems installed, the only other time that the scraper needs to be adjusted is to reset the scraper after a conveyor splice or spillage occurs, which means that the scraper blades need to be replaced.

CONVEYOR BELT CLEANERS

Drive type brush bottom drive type is a robust rotary brush that is driven from the momentum of the conveyor belt. This brush has excellent cleaning capabilities on chevron belts and belts that have damaged top covers. This unit can fit on any belt structure, regardless of the width.

CONVEYOR BELT SCRAPERS

Crescent type secondary scraper uses a unique cleaning system, whereby the blade is crescent shaped; this has a ploughing effect against the direction of the belt. This scraper has excellent cleaning capabilities on a slurry or excessively wet conveyor belt.

No maintenance is required after the unit is easily installed, due to its self adjusting blade mechanism. If the blade needs to be changed, a quick release system is used to minimise downtime.

CONVEYOR TAIL END SCRAPERS

Tail end scrapers v plough type uses the v shape to plough material off the conveyor on both sides thus protecting the tail pulley and conveyor belt from spillage by the top belt.

No maintenance is required after the unit is easily installed, due to its self adjusting blade mechanism. If the blade needs to be changed, a quick release system is used to minimise downtime.

DUST SUPPRESSION

Dust suppression metflo wheel type is a robust rust proof mechanical valve that operates up to 20bar pressure, using water atomisation sprays to suppress dust particles at the tip point of conveyors. Sprays are turned on once the belt is loaded with product. Supplied with its own fixing brackets, this unit allows for easy installation and maintenance.

CONVEYOR BELT MAINTENACE PRODUCTS

Conveyor belt clamps are used for conveyor belt repairs, and are supplied as a set of two. Once the conveyor has been cut and a belt joint needs to be fitted, one clamp is fitted to one side of the belt and the other clamp is fitted onto the other. They are then pulled together to perform the joint, using a tirfor. No special or extra tools are required when using the belt clamps.

We offer completely zero maintenance, easy serviceable and quick installation, with our conveyor belt cleaners.

Our philosophy with regards to scrapers is such: the scraper is purchased to clean the conveyor and should therefore do just that and not become another component on the mines or plants that require looking after.
