FLSmidth KOCH + FLSmidth MVT - Materials Handling and Conveying TechnologyFLSmidth KOCH and FLSmidth MVT form the FLSmidth Minerals Group technology centre for materials handling technology, based in Wadgassen/Germany. TURNKEY BULK MATERIALS HANDLING AND PROCESSING SYSTEMSBoth companies’ competences include design, manufacturing and service for a broad range of materials handling equipment and systems for various industries, from minerals and cement to aggregates, fertiliser, pulp and paper. In addition, FLSmidth KOCH is active in supplying coke oven plant technology, rolling mill systems and steel construction for hydraulic engineering. HIGHLY RELIABLE CONVEYING EQUIPMENT INCLUDING LEADING PIPE CONVEYOR TECHNOLOGYFLSmidth KOCH’s and FLSmith MVT’s bulk material systems are based on several decades of experience and offer superior solutions for mining, processing and handling of any type of bulk material. Both companies stand for advanced expertise in conveying equipment application, design and engineering; from trough belt conveyors to enclosed conveying systems. With more than 260 pipe conveyor systems operating worldwide, including the world’s longest installation with 8.2km in Peru, FLSmidth KOCH is the market leader in pipe conveying technology. MODERNISATION, MAINTENANCE AND REHABILITATIONWith comprehensive services for modernisation, optimisation, maintenance and rehabilitation, FLSmidth KOCH and FLSmidth MVT offer future-oriented solutions for cost effective operation and increased plant availability. FLSmidth KOCH has been a member of the FLSmidth Group since 1 January 2007, joining the know-how of former KOCH Transporttechnik and KOCH Austria with the FLSmidth Minerals sector. FLSmidth MVT is based on the expertise of former MVT Dillingen, which came to FLSmidth on 1 July 2001. In order to establish the world technology centre for materials handling technology, FLSmidth MVT moved its offices from Dillingen to Wadgassen in the middle of 2007. MINING INDUSTRY PROCESSING SYSTEMSFor the mining, cement, fertiliser and related industries, FLSmidth KOCH and FLSmidth MVT have developed renowned references in the following areas:
