Conveyor belting equipment engineered and fabricated to order

Extreme Maintenance Service can engineer and fabricate solutions to clients' individual specifications. Made to order products include: crib stations, clipping pods, cable boats, mesh pods, emergency strata response pods, service boxes, and oil drum carriers. All of our products are available with QDS attachments.

DCB sleds, spill trays, cable reels, belt spindles and shafts, stone dust stations, cross-over platforms, handrails, guards and covers, and chutes can also be made to order to meet the demands of a client's unique application. We also offer mine consumables.

Dewatering products

Extreme Maintenance Service also offers a full range of dewatering products including: vertical strainers, snorkel strainers, QDS fish tanks, air-operated diaphragm pumps, air / water traps, and precast concrete sumps.

Fire and safety equipment maintenance services

From our fabrication workshop in Mackay, Extreme Maintenance Services is able to provide maintenance services for mining safety equipment, including repair and refurbishment of fire and safety equipment, fire hydrants, fire doors, fire extinguisher brackets, first response stations, CABAs, emergency strata response pods and safety signage with mounting brackets suited to either rib or roof bolts.

Ventilation control devices

Extreme Maintenance Service has the capability to fabricate and service ventilation control devices such as 5PSI machinery door and man doors.

Conveyor maintenance tooling

Our experienced staff provides conveyor maintenance tooling, including conveyor line and leveling jacks, and roller changeout jacks.

Accredited training programme

In partnership with Hunter Institute of TAFE and Jameson Rowe Consulting, Belt Maintenance Service provides its belt splicers with accredited training and assessment, leading to the nationally recognised qualification Certificate III in rubber (belt splicing).

Training takes place in Belt Maintenance Service workshop facilities and on site, and is designed to develop employee competence in the practical skills and knowledge needed to carry out work safely and to the quality standards required by our customers.

Such an extensive, formal training program helps our customers comply with their obligations to ensure contracted companies can provide evidence of safe systems of work and competence.
