Supplying transportation solutions to the mining industry, Aerotrans Australia was established in 1989 and since then has built a reputation based on product quality and customer service.

Initially Aerotrans operated as a sales outlet using contract manufacturing for its own proprietary range of proven truck aerodynamic devices. However, the business has grown and now boasts its own manufacturing base.

Electric pallet conveyor system

PowerDeck is an electric pallet conveyor system designed for use within an enclosed area such as a van or truck. The innovative system facilitates the removal of pallets from vehicles quickly, safely and without damaging items.

Single pallet loads are usually strapped down at the rear of the van for convenience. However, this is dangerous as it affects vehicle balance and negatively impacts the braking capabilities of the truck / van.

PowerDeck will handle multiple pallets and ensure that each can be removed by forklift and the only human input needed is in the release of the restraining ropes. If a delivery route change means that pallets are in the wrong order, the solution is just a few minutes away.

As well as these obvious health and safety benefits, PowerDeck offers you quicker delivery times, reduced freight damage and decreased vehicle wear and tear that is often caused by incorrect load balances.

External ladder sleighs for mining operations

Our external G2000 ladder sleigh mounts to the company's Gentili roof racks and can also be retro-fitted to your existing roof rack system - although this may require special mount brackets.

With a two-ladder capacity, the G2000 functions with ladders of up to 6.5m in length and has a maximum capacity of 55kg (70kgs with special order struts). Fully tested, the G2000 has TUV GS accreditation and in June 2010 the system passed the rigorous ECE R17 crash test, assuring users that the daily task of loading and unloading ladders can be carried out safely and efficiently.

The G2000 allows the ladder to be removed from a van roof, canopy rack system or engineered support frame by one operator in a smooth, easy glide motion. When unloading, the ladder gently lowers to the operator's feet, with gas struts supporting the system as the ladder descends. This method prevents painful back injuries and the G2000's quality will provide many years of use on your mining site.

Internal ladder rack for mining applications

Mining operations require vast amounts of tools and equipment to be transported across the site. As such, space is at a premium, and keeping the floor-space of your van free means you can fit more inside your vehicle and improve your productivity.

Our internal ladder rack mounts to the underside of your van's roof, maximising your usable space and removing the opportunity for theft. Easy to install and simple to use, our internal ladder rack is manufactured using quality materials. By having the ladder inside the van, you also eliminate issues with headroom in confined spaces.

Fold-out van ramps for manoeuvring mining equipment

We supply a range of fold-out van ramps, offering 1,000kg, 600kg models and a 400kg model made from aluminium. Boasting European TUV approval, these ramps provide huge benefits by way of OH&S due to their ease of operation.

Tested well beyond their rated capacities, the ramps make loading and unloading heavy-duty mining equipment a breeze as they gently lower to the ground in one effortless motion. This safe and efficient practice elimates damage to expensive tools and equipment.

Not only do all of our ramps fold down with an easy operation, but models also swivel out of the way enabling goods to be removed from the rear without lowering the ramps.

The PC 1000kg and 600kg models are 1t rated Italian ramps, suitable for larger vans and cab chassis truck bodies. These can be supplied new at the time of van purchase, or can be retro-fitted to used vans.

Our lightweight aluminium model is suitable for all sized vans and cab chassis truck bodies, where total load including operator does not exceed 400kg. Using a unique balance system, the ramp opens and closes easily, without effort and can be mounted to a loading dock for multi-vehicle access - this can be done either horizontally or angled to the vehicle.
