Since then, Maruma's association and exclusive representative agreement with HEMS has helped to further develop their services in other parts of the world.

Working together, HEMS and Maruma offer a complete turnkey service that covers everything from workshop design, through recommendation of equipment, to supply installation, commissioning and workshop training (both in house or at the client's workshop). Maruma operates three factories in Japan as well as an extensive training school.

COMBINED LINE BORER AND WELDER

HEMS supplies a new portable combined line borer and welder - a single unit capable of performing boring and welding operations up to diameters of 1.2m.

The combined line borer and welder has been tested in field operations for over three years and has proved to be extremely versatile. Reboring and welding can be performed by the same machine, and the unit can work in any position without altering its accuracy.

The device features an automatic mode that makes it ideal for weld surfacing operations both in remote locations and construction facilities such as workshops and dry docks. In remote locations, the combined line borer and welder allows you to keep down costs linked to disassembly transport and re-assembly.

It can be used on all articulated joints on shaft rebuilds, building and road construction machines as well as industrial machines of any size or application.
