T.H. Diffenthal t/a T&L Enterprises, established in 1989, supplies a comprehensive range of products to the mining and construction industries in the following countries: South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Nigeria, DRC and Papua New Guinea, to name a few.

In 1998 we were appointed the agent and importing distributor for Facom, manufactured in France, and in 2010 we became the agent and importing distributor for Egamaster, a comprehensive range of non-spark tools, manufactured in Spain.

Non-sparking mining tool sets

Non-sparkling tools are used in a variety of industries to ensure that accidental dropping or contacts with hard objects does not cause a spark to fly.

Egamaster can provide a full range of tools from spanners and wrenches right through to wire brushes and shovels. There are three types of non-sparking products:

• Copper beryllium - harder and with higher tensile strength-break than aluminium bronze
• Aluminium bronze - most economical non-sparking tools
• Titanium - these tools have no magnetic signature and are used where there can be no interference with scanners or other sensitive equipment. Titanium tools are also completely rust proof and can be used in underwater activities
