Air suspension seats for the mining industry

The KAB 65-K4 is the newest edition to the KAB range of heavy-duty air suspension seats for the mining and construction industry.

Specifically designed for extended use in the most severe environments, the advanced design eliminates up to 70% of harmful vibrations, reduces friction by up to 60% and boasts a reduced spring rate of up to 40%.

The KAB 65-K4 is the only seat rated for a driver of 50kg to 200kg and is lap belt, three point belt and harness compatible. The main features of this seat include:

The KAB 61-K4 is the mechanical equivalent of the KAB 65-K4. This seat features mechanical 61 suspension, supports a range of belt types and a weight range of 50kg to 170kg.

Adjustable seats for underground mining vehicles

The KAB 525-M3 is fitted as standard in Caterpillar underground mining vehicles. This model incorporates a large seat cushion with tilt adjustment and a mechanical suspension rated for drivers of 80kg to 150kg. The T-shaped backrest provides enhanced comfort and support.

Safe and comfortable seats for mining operations

The KAB 11-F1 is an underground mining seat that has been specifically designed to accommodate the operator's safety belt. The F1 backrest differs to the T-shaped backrest, as the F1 allows for easier movement in and out of the seat. The KAB 11-F1 incorporates a compact mechanical suspension rated for operators of 50kg to 120kg.

Another popular design is the KAB 564 - a heavy-duty air suspension seat designed for use in the mining industry. Rated for drivers of 50kg to 150kg, the KAB 564 is designed to deliver a smoother ride, optimum ergonomic support and customised operator comfort.

The KAB 559 ACS is a unique mining seat that is unparalleled by any seating manufacturer or distributor Australia-wide. Incorporating an air comfort system (ACS) which comprises eight inflatable air lumbar supports, these seats deliver customised support to the sides, thighs and lower, middle and upper back. Rated for a driver of 50kg to 150kg, customers have the option of a mains air, 12V or 24V model.
