KAB Seating has been a leader in quality suspension seating systems for over 30 years in Australia and more than 60 years worldwide.
The Australian operating division of US-owned Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG), KAB boasts operating subsidiaries in the UK, Scandinavia, Europe, China and the US.
Today, KAB seats are fitted as standard in Caterpillar underground mining vehicles (during manufacture) and are also the preferred aftermarket fitment in a wide range of other underground and open-top mining vehicles.
Komatsu, Hitachi, Case, Austoft, Massey Ferguson and JCB are just a few of KAB's clients across sectors including mining, transportation, construction and materials handling.
In line with the direction of our parent company CVG, KAB Seating has diversified its product range by introducing a selection of vehicle accessories. This range consists of motorised mirrors (Moto Mirror), hose tenders (slide bars) and a revolutionary heat-insulation floor mating for vehicles (Comfortek).
We recognise that some applications have specialised requirements, and with that in mind, our range of underground mining seats have been developed to accommodate safety belts worn by underground mining personnel.
KAB Seating also boasts a team of in-house engineers. This means we have the expertise to offer a custom-built seat service for all of your mining needs. Whatever your requirement, we can customise any KAB seat, or design a completely new seat, to meet your individual needs.
