These include side-tipping trailers and rear-tipping trailers up to 115t capacity per trailer. Rear tipper and side tipper bodies for trucks as well as tipping dog, pig and semi-trailers have been part of J. Smith & Sons' traditional product line since the early 1900s. Its trailers' bodies are of very robust construction, offering long service life and excellent trade-in value.

Low loaders

Low loaders have been the standard method of transporting heavy, indivisible loads for the earthmoving and harvesting industries. The recent explosion in various tracked-tyre and large earthmoving-tyre vehicles has forced innovation. Fixed-deck low loaders have given way to hydraulically widened deck and axle widening low loaders. They can travel unloaded at street legal widths and then quickly widen to handle a variety of tracked-tyre and earthmoving-tyre vehicles.
