Safetrax - Adjustable Safety Barriers for Railway Lines

Safetrax is a temporary guardrail system which is assembled by the edge of a rail track to prevent workers from involuntarily intruding on to a live track. Adjustable safety guards for rail tracks

The Safetrax system is lightweight and compact for easy assembly and adjustability, yet strong enough to safeguard your workers from the hazards of working alongside railway tracks.

The system features a unique vertical adjustment, complying with international safety standards to keep the rail at the correct height. It is also adjustable horizontally, to allow labourers to work as close to or far from the rail lines as they need, and the lack of dug-in posts or stakes means that there's no risk of disrupting ballasts or damaging cables.

Secure twist clamps, spring clips and rail clips

The fence is secured to the tracks with strong twist clamps, and spring clips allow it to be constructed at any distance from the rail lines, which may depend on the required exclusion zone or natural obstacles in the environment such as boulders or shrubbery.

Horizontal rails are clipped in with rail clips to form the actual barrier between the workers and the track. While these horizontal rails are held in place strongly enough to protect workers, they can easily be unclipped in case of emergency, such as a worker finding themselves on the wrong side of the barrier.

The Safetrax system can be put up easily and quickly as there's no need to dig holes in the ground for the posts to be secured, which also negates any problems associated with track flow disruption, and saves time and money for businesses engaged in the mining industry.

Lightweight railway guardrail system

The lightweight nature of the Safetrax guardrail system makes it easy to transport and store, and the range includes a complete storage, transportation and distribution solution featuring a trailer and storage racks. Each set of racks is able to store approximately half a kilometre of Safetrax equipment.

With safety at the forefront of the system's design, Safetrax equipment is fabricated from non-conductive, heat and electricity-insulating materials which is a vital consideration when working with live electrified tracks, or working outside in the hot sun.
