Strata Products Worldwide has signed an agreement with Dräger Safety to be the company’s primary distributor for its mining divisions east of the Mississippi River.

"We are very pleased to partner with Strata in this vital region of the mining market. Strata adds an excellent Sales and Support network to promote and service our extensive family of mining products. That family not only includes the well-known rescue products but operational, health and safety products as well. This relationship between Dräger Safety and Strata offers the mining community the means, capability and capacity to reach the NMA’s CoreSafety goal of 0:50:5." – Tim Martin, VP of Sales Dräger Safety NA

Strata will carry Dräger’s complete line of personal safety and protection equipment, mine rescue apparatus, Self-Contained Self Rescuers (SCSRs) and personal gas detection devices for all mining types. It will also provide support for Dräger’s mine rescue initiatives, including training, competitions, service and maintenance.

"We are excited to be extending our offerings to include reputable safety products from Dräger, along with supporting the company’s involvement in mine safety and rescue," stated Rory Paton-Ash, CEO of Strata Worldwide. "We feel this partnership strengthens Strata’s position in the industry and effectively supplements our current safety lines of mine refuge chambers and post-accident communications and tracking systems."

All servicing, maintenance, repairs and replacement of consumables for the Dräger products will be performed at Strata’s regional support centers.
