Spill Station is an Australian company that manufactures a range of environment protection, health and safety products designed to minimise the negative results of a chemical spillage incident. Spill Station's products are designed to be combined in a variety of ways to provide cost-effective solutions in your workplace environment. These products include spill kits, storage cabinets for flammable and corrosive substances, safety showers and eyewash equipment, portable bunding and bunded spill pallets.
The first part of Spill Station's range is the spill response kits. To ensure the best outcome when responding to workplace spills of oils, fuels and chemicals, the spill kits are broken down into groups:
Safety showers and eyewash units make up the next part of the Spill Station range. This type of equipment is used in a wide variety of environments so there are a number of models to choose from.
In addition to the standard indoor safety shower and eyewash units Spill Station has a model specifically designed for outdoor use where direct sunlight can overheat the water in the shower and eyewash pipes. The self-draining emergency shower and eyewash combination drains all water out of the pipes after use to ensure any damage is not increased by non-compliant hot water.
Emergency tank showers and eyewashes are designed to work in areas where mains water supply is not available. The fully insulated 1,200L tank ensures a compliant flow of water wherever it is required. This self-contained tank emergency shower has a stainless-steel frame, shower rose and panic bar operation for durability in all conditions.
To ensure compliant water temperature (15.6°C - 37.8°C) these emergency tank showers and eyewashes can be fitted with a chiller unit. These chiller units can take the temperature down to 20°C - 25°C from an ambient temperature of 60°C. All emergency shower and eyewash equipment supplied by Spill Station complies with the Australian standards AS4775 and the internationally recognised ANSI standard.
Dangerous goods storage cabinets are fully compliant with the various Australian standards for the storage and handling of all relevant classes of chemicals. The primary units in this series are the flammable liquids storage cabinets and corrosive substance storage cabinets. Safety cabinets for the storage of oxidisers, organic peroxide and toxic substances are also available.
These safety cabinets are made from 1.2mm corrosion-resistant zincanneal steel and come complete with signage. All of the safety cabinets in the range have a baked enamel finish for added corrosion resistance.
The quickbund portable bund is ideal for proving a secure bunded area for oils, fuels, chemicals, generators, drill rigs, isotainers and more. The walls fold down to allow easy access for vehicles, forklifts and pallet trucks. When not in use, the quickbund portable bund can be folded down into a compact and easy to store package. No tools or frame are required for deployment, simply place and unfold.
Ten standard sizes of quickbund portable bund are available off the shelf. Sizes from 1,000L - 24,700L are fully portable and have broadband chemical resistance. All seams are high frequency welded to provide maximum strength. Puncture-resistant underblankets are available when the portable bund is deployed on unsealed surfaces.
Made from roto moulded polyethylene, our secondary containment equipment and spill pallets are second to none. They are available to suit storage requirements from a 1L to double IBC (1,000L tank) storage.
All bunded pallets come with anti-slip grates and drainage plugs fitted. Ramps are available if loading the spill pallets by hand. Weather-proof covers are available to protect the load from the elements.
All Spill Station staff are fully trained and able to conduct obligation-free spill risk assessments on your site. Spill kit service agreements are also available to ensure that your equipment is ready to respond to any spill incident that may occur. Spill response training is available at no charge with your spill kit purchase.
