Hostile Environment Services (HES) is an Australian-based company specialising in extreme-environment entry, intervention, inspection, maintenance and repair. We deliver the highest-standard emergency services and security personnel, specialist response equipment, and emergency vehicle fleet hire.

We are also Registered Training Organisation (RTO)-trained in a range of safety, emergency response and fire response courses. In addition, we provide a selection of mercury management services and plant shut-down services.

Hostile environment intervention, inspection, maintenance and repair operations

HES is a world leader in the provision of intervention, inspection, maintenance and repair operations within hostile environments. We are able to provide services that are unique within the industry. Throughout these projects we are able to manage the service from end-to-end, ensuring maximum efficiency and saving your company time and resources.

Safety and production are paramount for every client. This means getting a safe and prompt resolution and getting it done with little or no production down time. With years of experience and specialised equipment, our operations team can safely carry out work and inspections in many environments that would otherwise require a partial or complete production shutdown.

We are also able to provide security services such as wet mess coverage.

Emergency-response vehicle hire

Adding to our mobile medical and emergency response workforce is our large fleet of emergency vehicles. HES boasts the largest private rescue ambulance fleet in Australia, meaning that we are able to rent a large range of emergency vehicles to clients in all areas with a quick turnaround. All of our ambulances and emergency response vehicles come fully equipped and ready for use, including equipment such as:

  • International standard 'Hostile Hi-Vis' markings
  • Comprehensive communications systems

We are proud of the configuration, design, construction and maintenance of our high-specification fleet, which is accepted by all of the major resource companies in Australia.

Mine safety, emergency-response and fire-response training
