Guardvant is pleased to announce that Ed Desjardins has joined the company as executive vice-president. With extensive mining industry experience both as a supplier and end-user of mining technology.
Desjardins has held senior positions in management and operations at various world-class mining companies.
Recently, Desjardins served as general manager for Trevali’s Santander underground mine in Peru, managing director for AngloGold Ashanti’s Mali operations, sr. manager mining technology at Barrick, and mining manager for Newmont’s Yanacocha mine.
Desjardins will provide executive oversight of Guardvant foreign subsidiaries, as well as lead the establishment of new international operations to support the company’s growing customer base.
