Cardax integrated access control and intruder alarm systems

Cardax FT is a scalable, user-friendly system that can be integrated with other systems used by your organisation, for both security management (i.e. CCTV / DVR systems) and overall site management (i.e. integrated with facilities management, HR systems or ERP systems). Cardax FT integrates access control and alarm management, intruder alarm monitoring, remote digital imaging, intercom and PhotoID badging.

Cardax FT is a comprehensive Microsoft® Windows® based security system. It resides on an organisation's IT network and collects and stores real-time information about cardholders, the site and system activity. Cardax FT allows mining organisations to control who goes where and when for efficient staff, contractor and visitor management; its reporting ability provides a full audit trail of events.

The latest version of Cardax FT, v5.21, features high level integration with Salto offline readers. Known as the CommCard solution, this integration delivers cost effective, electronic access control to doors, cabinets or lockers traditionally secured with locks and keys. CommCard extends the standard access control capabilities of Cardax FT to offline, unwired Salto doors, delivering functionality not achievable with mechanical keys.

It is particularly suited to doors that:

• Require some level of security, but the cost of a fully wired and monitored door cannot be justified
• Do not require real time monitoring
• Generally do not require access mode changes

Ideal applications include mine campsite accommodation and lower security office doors, cupboards and cabinets.

'Zone counting' offers the ability to keep a continuous count of the number of cardholders in a zone. You can create 'No Alone Zones' where at least two people must be present at all times for security or safety reasons.

The Universal Card Format tool means Cardax readers can read a range of third party cards - a notable practicality and cost saving for a site with existing ID cards.

Cardax systems are used by a range of industries throughout the world including mining, ports, airports, medical facilities, research facilities, government agencies, tertiary institutions, through to smaller commercial sites.

PowerFence™ perimeter security systems

PowerFence™ Trophy systems actively deter would-be intruders and trespassers and detect attackers. The system consists of a grid of electrically pulsed, high tensile, wires that can be constructed inside a new or existing perimeter fence.

PowerFence™ systems are non-lethal and, without a doubt, safe; they meet international safety standards. Warning signs are positioned along the fence, providing warning of the hazard of an electric shock if the fence is touched or attacked.

PowerFence™ Trophy systems are divided into zones which are individually monitored so that in the event of an attack your security staff or monitoring company can pin-point which zone is affected and respond appropriately.

Advanced PowerFence™ perimeter security systems can be integrated with Cardax FT systems and DVR systems to provide a comprehensive audit trail of events and seamless site security.
