WATER SERVICE FILTERS FOR UNDERGROUND USE

Schroeder Industries' experience in hydraulic filtration has enabled the company to adapt its standard hydraulic filter models to handle water-based fluids commonly used in longwall and conventional underground applications.

By treating or coating filter components and incorporating stainless steel media cleanable elements, our proven filters work equally well at removing contaminants from 95/5 and other emulsions.

Included in this line of water service filters are offerings for high pressure, return line and in-tank installations. We also have a duplex version with a six-way valve that allows 700gpm flow rate capacity when the valve is in the middle position. Our duplex water service filter can alternatively be run as a true duplex, diverting all flow through one side and allowing filter elements to be replaced in the other.

SELF-CLEANING FILTERS FOR PROCESS APPLICATIONS

Recognizing that it is often necessary to use water from a pond or underground well to make up the 95% portion of 95-5 fluid, we also offer a series of self-cleaning (back-flushing) filters for use above ground. These are ideal for applications where fluid flow cannot be interrupted and must be constantly maintained at an acceptable cleanliness level.

Our maintenance-free filters are specially designed for extracting particles from low viscosity fluids and provide continuous filtration even during the back-flushing operation. Models capable of handling up to 33,000gpm are available. Power source can be electrical, pneumatic or a combination of both.
