Dorr-Oliver Eimco was recently awarded new contracts in excess of $23 million for ore processing equipment in the Pacific region and Chile.

Dorr-Oliver Eimco has been awarded a contract of over $11 million to design, manufacture and install Dorr-Oliver Eimco® thickening systems for the new Goro nickel mine in New Caledonia, with a delivery date scheduled for the spring of 2006. It should be noted that in 2002, Dorr-Oliver Eimco had received an initial order of approximately $10 million for the Goro project which, however, had been partially postponed. Following the significant increase in metal prices over the past two years, the Goro mine project was recently reactivated, with a goal to produce 60,000 tonnes of nickel and 6,000 tonnes of cobalt annually.

Also in the Pacific region, GL&V was granted orders to provide two mining producers with over $ 6 million worth of replacement parts for flotation cells.

Finally, Dorr-Oliver Eimco has garnered a major contract to supply ten Wemco® 257-cubic-meter SmartCell® mineral flotation cells to the world's fifth largest copper mine in Chile. The outcome of several years of product development and testing in cooperation with this prestigious Chilean customer, Dorr-Oliver Eimco's equipment are part of a significant mine expansion project and will increase the facility's production capacity by close to 20%. Scheduled to be delivered by the end of fiscal 2006, GL&V's SmartCell® flotation cells are currently the largest in the world and provide superior copper recovery.

"These new contracts consolidate GL&V's positioning among the world's leading providers of metal and ore processing solutions, a buoyant industry worldwide which, according to market specialists should remain very active for the next several years," said Richard Verreault, GL&V's Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer.
