FLEXIBLE MINING PHOTOGRAPHY

Peter Robey (Miningphoto.com's photographer) is highly skilled at photographing a wide range of mining scenes, including offshore, opencut mines, underground mines, coal mines, oil and gas fields (drill rigs), gold mines, hard metal mines and process engineering (aluminium smelters). Peter's work takes him from deep underground to aerial mine photography.

Peter's manner is easy going and he is courteous to all site staff. Customers often comment how quick Peter is to capture the necessary shots onsite. Having a photographer that understands mine protocol and how to shoot around a working mine site is a huge advantage especially if production time is to be stopped momentarily.

Miningphoto.com is an economic choice of service due to its Australian base; US equivalents often charge extra copyright and licensing fees, whilst UK alternatives can become costly due to exchange rates.

The company is fully insured with public liability insurance.

MINE SITE INDUCTIONS AND REMOTE MINING SITES

Miningphoto.com ensures that Peter stays current with the required mine site inductions and courses, including HUET and Australian Blue Card for construction sites. Peter has a list of inductions currently held - please enquire for a copy of these certificates. Peter Robey is vaccinated for travel to developing countries, and he often travels via crew flights where space and weight are limited. Peter can leave tomorrow with a small backpack of all required gear.

FILM AND DIGITAL MINING PHOTOGRAPH SERVICE

Peter has the proven ability to utilise either film or a digital camera for his projects. Depending on application, film is sometimes a requirement (see website for details).
