EnviroTech Services Opens New State-of-the-Art Facility in Prineville, OregonEnviroTech Services
EnviroTech Services, a road maintenance and safety solutions company that produces products to improve natural and man-made environments, recently announced the opening of a new facility in Prineville, Oregon. It is the company's first facility in Oregon and will serve as a blending and storage facility to supply road treatment products throughout the state.
EnviroTech chose the site because of its central Oregon location and proximity to a junction of key railroad lines that offer ideal access for distribution purposes. In addition to rail, products will be shipped via trucks as well. While EnviroTech will be servicing a variety of customers from this facility, its primary customer will be the Oregon Department of Transportation, along with commercial and private industry within the state of Oregon.
"EnviroTech is a community minded organization with quality people that will make great neighbors, and working with them has been a great experience" said Dale Keeler, business development manager for the City of Prineville. "The City of Prineville looks forward to the opportunities that this partnership will provide to the community, local vendors and surrounding counties."
With automated production capabilities, the facility will be used to convert dry and liquid materials to produce liquid anti-icing and de-icing products as well as dust control products used primarily on unpaved roads.
The project broke ground in February 2010 and construction was completed in early June 2010.
C S Construction out of Bend, Oregon was the construction company that worked on the project and Prineville Electric was the contractor used for electrical work.
"We can't say enough about the tremendous support we've received from Prineville's community leaders who were instrumental in getting this facility built," said Neil Parker, Vice President of Operations for EnviroTech Services. "Everyone involved was a great partner and we’re excited to open the doors and get the facility operating."
