The Unikat Combifilter™ Model S is now available with a built-in air supply and closed-loop thermostat control to regulate filter heating during regeneration. This allows regeneration times to be reduced by 20% to 40 minutes and will further extend the electrical element life.

The Unikat Combifilterä is an actively regenerated diesel particulate filter that filters out >90% of harmful diesel particulate. Regeneration is accomplished by connecting the filter system to a wall mounted regeneration panel, typically at the end of the day’s shift. Unikat Combifilters™ are also available as an exchange system with off-board regeneration.

Active Regeneration of diesel particulate filter greatly improves filter durability. Under the VERT approval program, the Unikat Combifilter™ has the longest documented operational experience and has surpassed 25,000 hours of durability. Please visit www.akpf.org/pub/filterliste_en_2000.pdf and go to page 9 of the report to see more details.

Use of the Unikat Combifilter™ actively regenerative filter technology allows the control of particulate from nearly any diesel engine without the need to monitor exhaust temperatures over changing duty cycles. The technology can also be used in combination with other passively regenerating diesel particulate filters from Engine Control Systems to optimize particulate filter system performance. These include the ECS CattrapÔ and PuriFilterÔ DPF systems.
