The phenomenal increased uptake of PolyCom Stabilising Aid in the Queensland region over the past six months has been a well-kept secret - until now.
When asked about the viral type sales explosion in the area the SEALS Group Operations Manager as usual, had a logical explanation. Phil Turley who manages the SEALS operation explained: "Civil construction engineers and local government engineers alike are a cautious and conservative lot and that's life for them, as their decisions are usually paramount to the success and/or failure of the project.
"After five years use and observation here in Queensland and nine years in the southern states PolyCom has finally earned the trust of the engineering fraternity. This trust has been earned in the very best way - by peer review."
He continued: "What's happening now is the product is being specified into large civil projects, it is being looked to as the first option for remediating troublesome sub-grade or variable ground and it basically now has the 'runs on the board' as far as councils and shires are concerned with extending pavement life for unsealed networks.
"One additional reason for the huge spike in interest is that civil contracting is very much alive and well in Queensland and contractors are looking for a 'quoting advantage' for proposed works and they are also looking to streamline their works methods - using PolyCom delivers both these advantages.
"It's all good for business and it's all good for the environment."
