Earthco Projects and PolyCom Stabilising Aid have been invited to attend the 9th Annual ECO-Buy Awards for Excellence in Green Purchasing.
ECO-Buy is a Victorian award winning not-for-profit Centre of Excellence in Environmental Purchasing that was established to encourage the purchasing of environmentally preferable products and services. The ECO-Buy Awards is a celebration of outstanding green purchasing and green products. Earthco Projects is looking forward to meeting and talking with like-minded green product and purchasing colleagues from government, business and industry.
PolyCom Stabilising Aid is an environmentally sustainable alternative to traditional methods of unsealed road maintenance, stabilisation and construction. Road material can be recycled on-site by adding PolyCom. The dependency on quarries is drastically reduced when reusing materials available on-site.
It produces results comparable to cement or lime but it's non-toxic, economical and easy to use. A PolyCom pavement is longer lasting, high quality and resistant to water erosion and traffic damage. Maintenance can be cut back and this results in a significant reduction in the need for water, trucks, diesel and continuous excavation of virgin material.
